Nuit d’Issey is a new men’s fragrance from Issey Miyake, which, judging by the design of the bottle, belongs to the same collection as L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme from 2009. The bottle is colored in black to represent the night, magnetic and hypnotic, the main inspiration for this edition.
The composition is steam woody-spicy with a leather backbone, developed by Dominique Ropion and Loc Dong. It is also described as a sharp, crisp, and mysterious ode to wood.
Top notes: grapefruit, bergamot
Heart notes: spices, vetiver, woodsy notes, black pepper, leather
Base notes: ebony tree, incense, patchouli, tonka bean
